QNX add-on Documentation

Overview

QNX add-on enables Hexagon SDK support for QNX OS running on the Application processor. This add-on provides QNX-specific build files, headers & libraries required to enable building of Hexagon SDK and Compute add-on examples with QOS v2.2.2, QOS v2.2.0, QHS v2.2.0 and QNX v7.1.0 toolchains on the CPU side and Hexagon v8.7.03, v8.6.06, v8.4.11 toolchains on the Hexagon side for Gen4 (Monaco,Lemans and Makena) Auto targets.

Installation

The QNX add-on is not included in the base Hexagon SDK. It can be installed by the following steps.

• For Windows:

  1. Open QPM
  2. Under "All" expand "Qualcomm Hexagon SDK Product Suite"
  3. Select "QNX_Addon_1.x" and the version you wish to install
  4. Click "Install" to begin the installation process

• For Linux:

  1. Open a CLI
  2. Run qpm-cli --login <username> <password> to login to QPM with your username and password
  3. Run qpm-cli --catalog-refresh to refresh the catalog
  4. Run qpm-cli --license-activate qnx_addon_1.x
  5. Run qpm-cli --install qnx_addon_1.x to install QNX addon.
  6. Follow the prompts to select the core installation you want for the QNX addon
